Refund policy
Return Eligibility:
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- Unworn, unwashed, and unused
- In original condition with all tags attached
- Free from makeup, marks, or damage
Returns that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted.
Refund:
- You have 35 days from your order being shipped to request your return.
- Refunds are available on full-priced online purchases only
- Items marked as Final Sale are not eligible for a refund
- Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method for the amount paid
Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable.
How to Request a Return:
To start a return, please email us at: renatasmelan@smelan.com.au
Include:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return
Once approved, we will provide return instructions.
Processing Your Return:
- You will receive an email notification once your return has been received
- Please allow 3–5 business days for processing
- Refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank
- A confirmation email will be sent once your return is complete
Exchanges
Due to the limited quantities and high sell-through of our collections, we’re unable to offer direct exchanges.
If you require a different size or style, we recommend placing a new order to secure availability. You may then return your original purchase in accordance with our return conditions.
Once your return is approved, you may choose between:
- A refund to your original payment method, or
- A store credit / voucher to use on a future purchase
This allows flexibility while ensuring you don’t miss out on your preferred item.
Faulty Items Return:
If you believe your item is faulty, please contact our Customer Care team at
renatasmelan@smelan.com.au within a reasonable timeframe, including:
- Your order number
- Clear images showing the fault
- Our team will review your request and work to resolve the matter as a priority.
Gift Card:
- Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash
- Gift cards are valid for 2 years from the date of issue
Returns Cost:
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- Australian customers may purchase return labels via our returns portal
- Smelan cannot be held responsible for lost or delayed return parcels
